Social Media Manager – The Dark Horse Group

We are seeking a creative and versatile Social Media Manager to develop and execute our social media strategy across multiple platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the online presence and engagement of our personality brand and our clients, creating compelling content, and driving audience growth and interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our brand’s goals and target audience.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including written copy, graphics, videos, and other multimedia elements.
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure a consistent posting schedule across all social media channels.
  • Produce short-form videos and perform basic video editing tasks to enhance visual content.
  • Write compelling captions, social media posts, and other copy that resonates with our audience and promotes engagement.
  • Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize performance and reach.
  • Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop integrated marketing campaigns and cross-promote content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably with a personality brand or influencer.
  • Excellent writing and copywriting skills with the ability to capture the brand’s voice and tone.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to optimize social media performance.
  • Knowledge of best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
